Brand & Marketing Specialist

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - FLSA: Exempt


Job Summary

Responsible for creating a positive experience for our guests, clients, and employees through showroom events and social media platforms. Creates, coordinates, and executes Acre events with Leadership and Sales team for both internal and external audiences. Manages the coordination of all manufacturer appointments. Increases awareness and develops a strong preference for Acre in our market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and promotion of all events and campaigns relevant to the brand.

  • Responsible for developing strategies to increase followers & engagement through a variety of marketing platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Create marketing strategy & social media campaigns, produce content, review, and synthesize analytics, & communicate with leadership team.

  • Select and source branded products and materials specific to company needs.

  • Assist with development and execution of branded content.

  • Monitor all marketing activities related to achieve Steelcase Premier Partners.

  • Elevate showroom tour experience through creating personalized materials, such as: digital signage, presentation loops, handouts, personalized thank you, & sharing survey results.

  • Greet and assist incoming clients and guests at the showroom. Host guests by offering beverages upon arrival, acclimating them to the building and hosting short tour as needed.

  • Support project teams with client gifting at potential milestones and annual events, such as move-in days or holidays.

  • Coordinate employee celebrations & milestones on behalf of Acre as requested. · Manage the Resource@acreworkplace.com email for vendor training and coordinate needs with presenters upon arrival. Assist with RSVP headcount as needed for catering order.

  • Order and maintain Steelcase research, product literature, material, and finishes as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree and/or 2-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing, media communications, office administration and/or showroom management.

  • Exceptional computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office products, such as Excel and PowerPoint,

    Microsoft Outlook & Teams and Bluebeam.

  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while managing several tasks at once.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong sense of urgency.

  • Demonstrates high personal performance standards, the desire and ability to continuously learn, and a results-oriented work style.

  • A high level of personal integrity and business ethics.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the contract furniture industry and understands manufacturer and dealer relationship.

  • Experience with showroom management and event planning.

  • An understanding and desire of marketing and media strategy.

  • Proficiency in Squarespace and all social media platforms.

Physical/Mental Demands

This position will be performed at times while standing and must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time. Occasional bending, twisting or reaching. The ability to climb stairs is required. Occasional lifting may be necessary up to 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision. The ability to talk, listen, read and write are important functions of this job. Working Conditions

Primarily an office-based position with flexible schedule and work from home option. Overtime hours may occur depending on event timing. Minimal travel may be required.
