Organizations We Partner With
Second Harvest Heartland
Second Harvest Heartland plays a critical role in ending hunger across Minnesota and western Wisconsin, and Acre is proud to support their mission through hands-on volunteer efforts.
Our team recently swapped laptops for hairnets and spent the day packing food to help fight hunger in our community. In just a few hours, Acre volunteers packed 371 bags of potatoes, totaling 15,018 pounds of food. That effort helped provide 12,515 meals to families across Minnesota.
Supporting organizations like Second Harvest Heartland allows us to make a tangible, immediate impact. It’s meaningful work, shared together, with results you can actually count. Potatoes included.
Spring Yard Clean Up with Senior Community Services
Each spring, Acre partners with Senior Community Services to support older adults in our community with seasonal yard clean up. From raking and trimming to hauling debris, our team rolls up their sleeves to help seniors safely enjoy their homes and outdoor spaces as winter fades.
It’s a hands-on way to give back, connect with neighbors, and make a visible difference in just a few hours.
Acre Auction Fundraiser
Each year, Acre hosts an online auction fundraiser led by our V.O.I.C.E.S. Committee, bringing the team together to support meaningful causes in our community. Proceeds from the auction benefit Sojourner, a nonprofit domestic violence shelter that has served the West Metro area of the Twin Cities since 1979.
The auction features a variety of donated showroom items, including furniture, accessories, and home decor. It’s a fun, engaging way for our team to give back while directly supporting individuals and families in need.
Prism Can Drive
Prism supports families through food shelves, housing assistance, and essential services. Acre partners with Prism through volunteer efforts and donations that directly support individuals and families working toward stability and self-sufficiency.
Toys for Tots
During the holiday season, Acre organizes a Toys for Tots drive to help ensure kids in our community experience the joy of opening a gift. Our team shows up in full force, turning generosity into a tradition we look forward to every year.
