Internal Safety Practices

Our Goal: To achieve a Zero Harm Workplace, aiming for a year-over-year reduction in our Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and ultimately eliminating all work-related injuries and illnesses.

Actions Taken to Meet This Goal:

  • Risk Mitigation: We conduct regular, comprehensive hazard identification and risk assessments across all facilities and job functions to proactively address potential dangers.

  • Proactive Reporting: We actively promote a culture where employees are encouraged to report all near-misses and potential safety concerns without fear of reprisal, leading to preventative action.

  • Ergonomic Enhancements: We implement ongoing improvements to workstations and tools to reduce physical strain and the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

  • Safety Committee: We formed a cross-functional Employee Safety Committee composed of management and employee representatives to regularly review policies, inspect facilities, and champion safety initiatives.

Ongoing Training & Culture: We maintain an ongoing safety training program that covers critical topics like Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), emergency procedures, and safe operational practices. We foster a culture where every employee is empowered to halt work they deem unsafe, reinforcing that safety is a shared responsibility, not just a policy.
